You have to understand that the personnel that make up the body of the Spider have not been elected by the people. They have been recruited by existing members of the spider and as such are of the same type of personality that already exists within it.

They have stringent clearance procedures that ensure that only the right kind of personel is employed.

Freedom and liberty is not a by word in these circles. To say that they are a little right of centre is an under statement.

You have to remember that the Spider created the electronic web.

 

Spiders in the natural world use their webs to attract prey.

Once they have spun their webs they go into hiding at the edge of it, from where they can feel the slightest vibration of the web.

The web glistens with morning dew. This attracts the unsuspecting insect and they become entangled in the web.

The spider sensing the struggle of its victim rushes out and eats the insect and then goes back to its hiding place and waits for its next prey.

This is exactly what happens on the electronic web, but the prey in this case is information.

The unsuspecting public use computer communications in every facet of their normal everyday lives and have become completely dependent upon it. Where would they be without their programmable videos.

The public are transmitting data over the electronic web like never before and governments of the world are trying to get as many people as possible onto the web.

Financial commerce is rushing headlong into 'On-Line' accounts and facilities and closing bank branches by the 100's to the detriment of people without internet access. The old and the poor who rely on the local branches of the bank to carry out their financial transactions.

Those who don't have internet access are going to be deemed 2nd class citizens, because before long if you don't have an e-mail account you will be excluded from the brave new electronic world.

The postal service will be restricted to parcels and then only as freight.The only way to receive correspondents will be by e-mail.

The Spider will say that the reason that this is being done is to save all those trees that have to be cut down to make all that paper and it is only responding to the 'Green Issues' concerning defoliation of the rain forests.

The Spider will spam you (unsolicited e-mails) with propoganda to make you believe what it wants you to believe and plant information on-line to trap the unwary for its own ends.

 

In a few years there will be a whole generation of children in the western world who have never put pen to paper, but who will have sent a thousand e-mails.

They will have never gone outside for recreation preferring instead to play multi-player web oriented electronic games on their computers.

They will have fought wars killing half the world's population, from the safety of their bedroom, but they will have never fired a gun or seen the horror of dead bodies.All courtesy of computer games!

 

This scenario was evident in the 'Gulf War' where laser guided missles with on board cameras, transmitted images as they sped on to their intended targets and kept on transmitting right up to the point of impact.

These images were regularly shown on the Western new channels at peak times, and to my son they seemed liked a computer war game, but with better graphics.

If wars can be portrayed in this way, devoid of feelings and consequences so that the viewer sees it as being a new type of entertainment, then heaven help us all!
